In taking the time to place pen to paper writing my tangelo blend of
truth,
My shouts of I love you are tossed together with
PAST DUE and
“renew your subscription here”
All of us stuffed in canvas mailbags,
temporarily housed in the belly of Postal planes.
As the price of cutesy stamps lift like yeast

Those three words, when spoken, will be recieved and registered by the recipients in different ways.
Some people take these words and can reciprocate the exact same sentiment, while others are threatened by them.
