I think that is so childish. Before cell phones with texting capabilities, if we needed to or wanted to break up with someone, we called them and expressed ourselves or we expressed ourselves face to face. I think we lose the human side of things when we text more and conversate less. Nothing is wrong with texting in the least bit, but we should at least start back up with the most valuable thing we have, which is human interaction.
