Just awful and if the economic situation keeps going the way it goes we’ll see more of this. But this was always here in America. We’ve just become too good at looking the other way. Very powerful image.
ALL: Thank you for stopping through. It is hard out there. Everyone is feeling it.
Dee: Glad that you have a roof over your head.
isabella mori: You know what? I didn’t even think of that possibility. Sometimes one option is better than the other. I’ve come across some people who prefer the streets instead of what others consider civilized society.
there are lots of homeless kids here too. I pray they find a safe and nice shelter.
this is a result of human neglect, greed, indifference…
This one simply breaks your heart. With all the talk of change, I hope we see some answers to homelessness soon. Thanks for an important photo.
Damn… Its real out here.
That is such a sad picture!!!

Such a terribly sad picture.
The sad thing is I was living in my car up until one month ago…but I never thought of myself as homeless because I had somewhere to live
I lost my home to foreclosure..
i always hunt around for interesting and evocative WW images. this one certainly fits the bill.
when i see homeless kids, the question immediately pops into my head: did they run away from something worse than homelessness?
