Weight Just A Minute!

By Dan-Sean Mankind on August 25, 2008 @ 12:00 am

You think
You say
You feel that I’m too skinny

I think
I say
I know that I’m all right with me

Could it possibly be
You’re so insecure
That you take your frustration
Out on me?

Maybe you’re too fat
By your own standards
I’m just saying
Your weight isn’t an issue
Not in my mind
According to me
You look just fine…

Thanks to everyone for your comments and feedback. Just to note, this poem had nothing to do with me being insecure about my weight. It basically speaks to those who have issues with their weight; those people who attempt to make others feel bad about themselves instead of changing what it is that they aren’t pleased with regarding their own bodies…
