One side of the city that I don’t miss. Great photos, though.
Great shots! Happy WW.
My car never looks this shiny and clean.
and i love the color blue, withthe touch of red in the hubs.
The men on the bench photos popped up as I was exiting.
Strong images, and gentle as well. And the last on looks like despair.
It’s so sad to think that there are a lot of homeless people all around the globe.
Humbling.
How sad to see so many without homes to go to. Do they stick around the same area? The homeless here seem to have territories if that makes sense.
Great entries as always!
For some reason, the line “Aww, they’re such angels when they’re asleep”, usually applied to one’s children, sprang to mind when I saw these photos. You have a knack for compassionate shots.
Wow, these are very thought provoking shots. Very interesting life observations…
Happy WW!
Shiny!
Have a good WW!
Gotta show the hubby this one. He’ll love it!
It’s the same here in San Fran, but more visible because the city is only 700K people; 4% are black and the majority of the homeless out here.
Very disturbing…
What a lifestyle. Must be hard.
Such harsh realities. Very well captured.
You have problems bro. You have what’s called homlesspersonemia or bumpixosis. One day you’re going to get a random email from one of them asking you for royalties lol.
Wow, what amazing photos.
stunning pics, it’s amazing what can be said in a simple picture.
Breaks My Heart.
Gripping images. I liked this.
These are the kind of street shots that are priceless. Great with B&W as well!
Seeing them makes me sad.
sad
always “love” your homeless pictures.
okay - so can we say gallery showing. . .
I’m glad no one steals their stuff while they nap.
I see this all to much and for many it’s their only place of comfort. But I suspect some of these guys are waiting to be picked up.
Reminds me of waiting for Godot. Seriously, gorgeous and provocative photos as always. Your work is absolutely masterful…the kind of pictures that get the brain thinking.
So much said in these photos. How often we forget there are people for whom life is vastly different. What a poignant reminder.
