Blogging Love

Urban Observation has lost its virginity. I know that sounds a little funny but this virgin thing was in the category of awards. The Marvelous Marva of The Marvalus View has bestowed upon Urban Observation the Arte y Pico award. This is a first and we at Urban Observation thank you kindly for the love. I’ve been reading her blog for quite some time and she always gets my attention. It’s great to be recognized.

I suppose with every award comes rules:

1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each awardee has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4. Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte y Pico blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award: http://arteypico.blogspot.com/.

QMusings: Ms. Q always leaves you with something to think about. Even the most simplist of things will have you going “hmmm…” I also appreciate her for her love of wine and positive thought.

U N L O A D E D: Ricardo is a great writer and a wonderful story teller. Check out his series on “The Gift of Boob” – one of my favorites.

Momma Mia, Mea Culpa: Meleah is an extraordinary personality. She has a kind heart and spills her feeling out on her blog with a great flow.

Raw Dawg Buffalo: Raw Dawg definitely tells you like it is. Great business mind and a published author.

Cool Glass of Dejanade: I never actually got into the title of Dejanae’s blog until just the other day. She is indeed a cool glass of… Straight up with the bootleg posts she’ll leave you cracking up. And she is fine as all hell too (just had to say that). Not to mention she lives in my home borough.

Wow, congratulations on the award! Well deserved and it’s been wonderful to see how your blog (and you) have evolved. More than wonderful, quite beautiful.

You and I have some kinda connection (freaky!) and lately I’ve had this thought that sooner or later we’ll meet. Makes me wonder if you’ve thought the same thing.

Dej: LOL… Ummm… Only one female on this site and I don’t think she is having that kind of issue at this time. But I do get what you mean. I could show you the bag that was used in the process but I have since flushed it. (ALL JOKES PEOPLE – I can be crude sometimes too…)

Ms. Q: Thank you. I cannot say enough how much of an influence you’ve had on me. But you know I share this award with The Orange Phoenix and Dan-Sean Mankind.

I was in the airport a few months prior to your job situation and thought one day I’d see you at an airport restaurant. But then when your job changed I thought perhaps I’ll be in your city one day and spot you drinking a glass of wine. So yes, I’ve thought about it.

Glad you posted an updated about this post! And whoops, I am sorry I forgot about the contributions of Orange Phoenix and Dan-Sean Mankind. Sorry! Dean-Sean has some great poetry and heartfelt stories about faith and God. OP…well, dang. Sense of humor and writing that is all her own, that is for dang sure. Funnee and smart and waaaay over the heads of the men who try to catch her eye!

Thank you for sharing that I have influenced you. I am humbled. Well..I am assuming I’ve been a good influence based on how wonderful I think you are!

That would be funny if you spotted me drinking a glass of wine. I am not so “white” in real life! Hehehehe! Plus, you’d have to know where I live but I also know that there are ways to find out.

But seriously, I do have this thought that we’ll meet someday.
