Pink: I doubt the ring finger works for some people. A lot of folk don't respect marriage. Whether it be their own or someone else's. Yes, all the pics are my own.

I'm glad you like the site. Thank you for stopping by.

dejanae411: I suspect as much from you. I'm sure you get stared at all the time.

PNR: Is it a natural instinct to react negatively to rejection? Thank you for clarifying on my comment that I left on your site. I stand corrected and understand where you are coming from.

DSM: Oh no doubt... And she never missed a beat. I was so feeling her something kinda funny at that point.

yesterday, I got this sort of treatment and the next thing I know, I was holding out my middle finger. guess, grumpiness goes with the illness. heehee.
about the old folks in the gym, i was not being judgmental. Actually, I admire the senior citizen program in our neighborhood where in they do aerobics on weekends. some kalisthenics to promote blood circulation, to stretch some muscles and to prevent osteoporosis.
I'm a medical professional (not a doctor) and i am seeing that the old folks in the gym were pushing themselves over the limit. the body combat is really tough. I dance once in a while so my lifestyle in not wholly sedentary but the session was really taxing.
insurance in my country is not big time.
thanks smuch for sharing your thoughts. really appreciate it.

The Fitness Diva: LOL... Yeah, she was on point and didn't miss a step.

Lavenderbay: Interesting... I think you caught me with the African-heritage people. But I feel where you are coming from. Just this morning I was speaking to a woman in the office about her thickness. She felt she was too thick. I keep telling her she is sexy. She likes the confidence black woman walk around with. They own their thickness. They wear it with pride. This woman here was about her business.

Meleah: You don't say. :-)

I think most of the African-heritage people I've seen in Toronto are Caribbean immigrants, so I don't know how realistic my observation is, but I've always admired the way many women carry themselves: straight but not stiff, proud but not arrogant, sexy but not cheap. Their posture says that they respect themselves and naturally expect respect from others. It's something that too few of us white women know how to pull off.
