I would agree that young people think that way. You aren’t too far from the 20’s concept of dating around. However, I do no people in their 30’s and 40’s who do the same thing. Times are hard in the Big City.

Indeed, dating is the only way to find out what you want or don’t want. More on that later.

I love the graphic you chose for the post, very apropos and very “NEXT!”

Besides the “warm body for the winter” and then “Fresh new start for Spring” people do feel more ready for new things in the spring. Like Sharon wrote about “spring cleaning.”

I can’t even recall the various times I have been dumped or done any dumping. I don’t think I’ve had any coincidences either way. But the Fall seems to be the time of year when changes happen to me.

I haven’t been around a bunch of dating folk so I have no idea of the trend you’re experiencing. It makes we wonder at the age range, too! I would guess people in their 20s are more apt to play musical partners and that’s only because I dated more in my 20s that I do now and had no idea of what I wanted or what was good for me. But how else to figure things out?
