Happy Birthday, Bob Marley (nee Robert Nesta Marley)
I’m not a fan of Reggae music but I can appreciate the impact that Bob Marley has had on the world.
I remember watching I Am Legend where Will Smith is conversing with a young woman in his living room about Bob Marley and she looked at Will in bewilderment and respond, “Damian Marley.” “No! His father,” Will replied.
Shame that we may have reached the day where people don’t know Bob Marley other than as some dude with a doobie resting on his lips on a T-Shirt.
To all the young people out there: If you want to hear great music with lyrics that can change the world and the mindset of the masses take the time out to listen to any of Bob’s songs.
BOB: The world celebrates your birthday and your contribution to music.
