Dan-Sean Mankind: Haters are a necessary Evil. What can I say? You know they are all around us. We don't like them but they seem to like us. And... Thank you.

Ms. Q: I know what you mean when you talk about that irritating individual. I have someone in the office similar to that. We ended up traveling to the same destination and I approached him differently. He isn't as bad as I thought he was. Still annoying but that has more to do with me than him.

Wow! Great flow with free writing! I wish that we didn't need haters and I hope that someday we might acknowledge the hate instead of expressing it and use our "shadow side" to show us how to make the light inside ourselves brighter.

I've read that when we don't acknowledge and accept the "bad" in ourselves (envy, hate, jealousy, anger) we aren't accepting ourselves unconditionally. If we don't accept our entire self, how can we accept anyone else?

I've always heard that what we don't like in someone else is really what we don't like in ourselves. Arrggggh!

Sometimes it isn't obvious but I've discovered this to be true time and time again. I know you know I read a lot and another thing I've read is that when you don't like someone, change yourself and the other person will change. Also true.

I once found someone incredibly irritating. I fixated on all his irritating habits. Then I found out I had to work with him. I could either choose to be irritated all the time or I could change. I changed and began to notice all the good in him and he really is good. What I had found irritating is now endearing.

I know you're in agreement with this quote, "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

If I want a world of love, I must be love.

I am in heavy agreeance to this right here! You cannot have one without the other and I simply chose to stay on the side of love. I say let the hater's motivate you. U just have to know that it's fuel for your fire to be great! These people simply have no clue that they can achieve greatness to if they'd only congratulate as opposed to discredit others every chance they get. One cannot wish to be happy if they cannot see another person happy and be happy for them. Excellent post! I really enjoyed reading this!p>

You're right. I look at it like Ying/Yang. What is one without the other?

I'm a fan to no one. But I can appreciate Star Wars like any other great piece of art or entertainment.

I don't know if you're a fan of Star Wars. Wasn't growing up but there are lessons in the force. Haters are like the Dark Side. Without Haters like Anakin Skywalker/ Darth Vader there is no Jedi. We need haters to balance our worth...bring balance to the force.
