“Shoot” The Rapper and Win
By Urban Thought on June 7, 2007 @ 9:00 am
It’s funny what people consider advertising these days. As I was reading an article on a London News site I came across the advertisement pictured above.
I’m not sure if they are saying “Shoot” the Rapper as in take his picture or “Shoot” the Rapper as in ‘kill him dead.’ However, there is something about this ad, which leads you to a page to purchase ring tones, that seems highly inappropriate.
I would direct you to the ad but I wouldn’t want people making money off of the hits. When you do decide to “Shoot” the Rapper, who resembles 50 Cent, the screen turns red. Red symbolizes blood, last time I remember.

Observations
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

The ad is a bit creepy and definitely implying “kill him dead” what with the obvious “crosshairs” and the fact that the camera BARELY looks like a camera. A bit of a gun-down the gangsta vibe with a bit of assassination (the way the rapper is positioned it looks like he may be next to a podium) thrown in as well. Creepy. Very creepy.
