Lost Children, Part 2: Why Not Sleep in Your Own Bed?
By Urban Thought on June 1, 2007 @ 11:00 am
I know every parent isn’t like my mother. But I would think if you birth a child you would want to care for it.
So why is it that I wake up this morning to find two children sleeping in the hallway? I know they are around 13 – 15 years old (you cannot tell with some of these girls who are stacked like woman, must be the milk).
It actually wasn’t a hallway, it was a stairwell, in the projects no less. And it happens to be 5am in the morning when they were there. The females weren’t dirty looking. They didn’t look homeless.
But I could only wonder if the parent(s) of these two females were at all concerned of their whereabouts. And, out of all places to sleep why the stairwell of a building in the projects? I thought to wake them up because they were blocking my way down the stairs but I thought against it (just that ghetto mentality of minding my own business).
Don’t know if you’ve ever been in a ghetto hallway before but depending on the day you can find a number of items. Just to name a few: empty weed bags (if you actually find weed in the bag then its questionable, the weed – not the bag), Chinese food containers (along with remnants of the Chinese food), empty condoms wrappers, and condoms, which aren’t always so empty.
