Janet Jackson set to star in Tyler Perry’s next movie, “Why Did I Get Married.”
Acting isn’t new to Janet; with such credits on television as Good Times, Diff’rent Stroke & Fame along with big screen hits, Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps and Poetic Justice.
After the Super Bowl incident Janet’s career has never been the same (SIDE NOTE: Outside of the slip of the nipple no other half time show after has topped it). With the release of Damita Jo an abundance of bad reviews and lackluster album sales; let’s hope this time around, with the help of Tyler Perry, her career emerges better than Jermaine Dupri’s attempt to put her back on top with 20 Y.O.
“Why Did I Get Married?” is set to begin filming on March 5, 2007.

Though I do agree that her career hasnt been the same since she exposed her breast to millions of children (lol), i dont think her halftime show stands as being the best. Prince’s recent halftime show was leaps and bounds beyond anything we’ve seen at halftime. How can you beat Purple Rain in a thunder storm?
