Eddie Murphy has finally gotten the chance in lifetime and blown it all in the same year. In what had seemed to be sure when may be the end of the Oscar journey. After receiving both the SAG and Golden Globe award for the best role I’ve every seen Eddie Murphy in to date he may have blown his shot at taking home the most respected aware of all, The Academy Award.

To say Academy Award Winner Eddie Murphy sounds far better than Academy Award Nominee Eddie Murphy, but that is all we he is left with after the release of Norbit.

 All this is said because the Academy Award voters don’t care to much for comedy. And they sure enough don’t care too much for men dressed in fat suits making fun of fat black woman. Even the Black Community has weighed in on the subject (no pun intended) as being fat is a big issue amongst the darker people of the world.

If Eddie gets the gold, as I hope he does it will be a beautiful thing. If he doesn’t it won’t be the end of his career as he has shown Hollywood that he is a versatile actor that can give you funny man and drama without so much as breaking a sweat.
