
This past Sunday, while looking through the paper, I came across the most shocking advertising I’ve ever seen. On the back of the Life Magazine was an ad. What I thought was my grandmother on the back of the paper (I was going crazy to think she was stripping for cash) is actually a Dove ad about anti-aging products.Â
Dove is proâ—age according to the campaign you are not ”too old to be in an anti-aging ad.” Proving that natural beauty doesn’t have to be lost with age (or so we hope).
It’s about time that advertising took a turn at targeting older folk and using that same group to promote there products.
I appreciate Dove right now. Keep breaking new ground (or has this been done by someone else and I missed it?).
Too bad it wasn’t actually my grandmother though. It would have been nice to have a celebrity in the family.Â
