Good Morning America aired a clip featuring Army Recruiters lying to potential soldiers.
“Nobody is going over to Iraq anymore?”one student asks a recruiter.
“No, we’re bringing people back,” he replies.
“We’re not at war. War ended a long time ago,” another recruiter says.
Recruiters have used this tactic time and time again like a well seasoned sales person. Why is anyone surprised by these tactics? They are going so far as lying to crack heads (read the article) to get them to enlist. Where the army should be is in places like Penn Station picking up the homeless, cleaning them up and then shipping them off to Iraq. After all what do they have to do but beg for food? At least they can work for it, right?
