[...] Moving along, my fascination for New York and the abundance of homeless people here hasn’t gone away. One of my first post’s touched on the subject. I still see them everywhere. I know they all have a story. One day I think I may stop one and ask “how” this has become their reality. Right now, my balls aren’t big enough for that. [...]

I usually always take notice, and want to help, but this is NYC and one has to be careful. I know I have had a scare with a crazy homeless man who grabbed my nicely washed sweater, leaving his greasy prints all over it! So, there is fear with helping some of them because you just never know. However, I do put some change in the cups of the homeless representatives who say they have fresh sandwiches and snacks. I always give to them. What's weird is the picture of the woman eating where there is a homeless person right under her. Yuck. I'm sorry but I wouldn't be having a meal where there is a homeless individual sitting so close. Just my two cents

I think people ignore them not because they don't like them, but they feel that they can't help them. I've learned that homelessness doesn't judge. That it can happen to anyone of us.
